We see Ankit (Sunny Kaushal) being hit with a hammer as to why he is innocent and has not done anything wrong, leaving even the onlookers stuck as to what is true and what is false. Ankit flirts with an air hostess, Neha (Yami Gautam), who later becomes pregnant, and he is a debt-ridden man who is being sought by a very dangerous person.
After a traumatic accident, Ankit and Neha smuggle some diamonds through a flight and pay off their debt. After making a plan, the flight they decide to board gets hijacked and all plans fail. What happens after this will blow your mind. Such points come out that many twists come in the life of both.
Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga Movie Review
Siraj Ahmed (Re) and Amar Kaushik (Stree, Bala, Bhediya) have written the story of this film and yes, it is not a combo that one would expect to combine for a thriller. Siraj won a fan for a lifetime for writing 2 of my most brilliant episodes (Forget Me Not, Bahrupiya) in Ray and Amar has films like Stree and Bala to his credit. Apart from bomb gags, you won't find the Amar Kaushik school of humor here. These two poles apart personalities (off-screen) design a story that relies heavily on a single twist without building anything concrete around it.
Chor Nikal Ke Bhaag Movie Review: Star Performance
Sunny Kaushal's quality of being a simple and haughty person at the same time helps differentiate himself from his contemporaries. You cannot judge if he is innocent or pretending to be one. Even the script allows him to do so, but he justifies every word with his masterful acting.
Yami Gautam benefits the most from the 'One Major' twist as her character takes a 360° turn on her routine act and turns it into something to remember. She remains in form after a spectacular Lost, attracting the attention of filmmakers who might have otherwise avoided her. Sharad Kelkar and Indranil Sengupta are fine with their performances though their characters needed a lot of fleshing out for the makers to justify their presence.
Chor Nikal Ke Bhaag Movie : Direction , Music
He divides the film into two parts - before and after the 'twist' and the problem lies in creating routine hijack subplots to reach the juicy part.
Ketan Sodha's background score orchestrates desired thumps to build an impatient tone around the narrative. Vishal Mishra's solo love song doesn't click; i don't even remember what the song is called
